PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Recycled Vegan Shearling Coat by Will's Vegan Store

Our notes

When we first started to look at veganising classic coats, following our ethos of making it easier for people to live a positive lifestyle - this was one of the first styles we thought about.

However, to get the look and feel right was a challenge. We discovered our existing vegan suede did not create the right finish and feel you would expect from this jacket during the design process.

To create an authentic version we did a lot of R&D and came up with this heavier weight Italian vegan suede that has a rougher, more traditional feel. We then bonded this newly sourced material to our recycled vegan shearling (made in Italy made from 100% recycled polyester) to create one piece of material that flows and moves with you as you wear it.

The vegan shearling is deep, cosy and soft, perfect for snuggling up to and wrapping around you to keep warm and luxuriously snug.

The oversized fully lined hood protects you from the wind, rain and those super chilly days. All parts of the jacket are lined, from the hood, down to the bottom hem, back, and arms. The front of the jacket is fastened with three matt finish buttons made from recycled compressed paper and resin (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified).

You can put your carry essentials into the two-deep slip pockets. We finished this piece with a neatly turned over stitched hem and cuffs, cotton WVS labelling and an embroidered cotton hang loop.

You can wash on 30 degrees Celsius / 80 degrees Fahrenheit but please use a Guppy Bag to capture microplastic release.

Like everything we make & do, our clothing is certified Carbon Neutral. There is no packaging waste, we only use biodegradable plastic-free packaging from the paper bags to the paper tape we use to seal them. Your delivery is certified Carbon Neutral, if you choose to use our 365 days free returns and exchanges service, that is certified Carbon Neutral too. This Vegan Shearling Coat is ethically produced in small batches in the heart of Tuscany, Italy.
