Zig-Zag Baby Rainbow Kantha Quilt by Spindle

Kanthas are layers of cloth, hand-stitched by women in West Bengal using a traditional straight kantha stitch.

Introducing our first perfectly imperfect rainbow kantha made from 3 layers of 100% handwoven cotton. Super soft and bouncy, the kantha is adorned with freehand zig-zag kantha stitching made up of green, red, blue, black, yellow and red.

Each kantha is entwined with hope and love and by purchasing a kantha you are directly supporting the livelihood of artisans dependent on traditional skills.

Material: 3 layers of super soft handwoven cotton

Love and Care: Machine washable. Do not use bleach, harsh detergents or high heat.

As this is a hand made product, there may be slight colour and size variations. The zig-zag may not be exactly the same as pictured. Some of our baby kantha quilts have been pieced together to avoid waste.
