Vasudha | Kantha Quilt
You asked for more green and we've delivered! This gorgeous gorgeous emerald and lime green kantha quilt is one not to sleep on. On the one side there is a very traditional almost mosaic like printed sari that had beautiful streams of yellow and fuchsia pink kantha stitching running along it. The end white threads are extended to create corner tassels.
The reverse side of this quilt has intricate hand embroidery borders and enlarged kantha stitches along the border to form a diamond shape pattern that is often seen in traditional kantha quilts.
One-of-a-kind vintage kantha quilt made up of 2-5 layers of recycled cotton saris. This quilt has been freehhand stitched by female artisans from a village in West Bengal.
