This tall white porcelain tumbler or beaker is the perfect cup for cold or hot drinks.

A hand-drawn line in black porcelain slip bisects the midpoint of the cup, marking the dividing line between the fully glazed upper half of the tumbler and the lovely matt texture of the unglazed bottom half.
All our ceramic items have our brand name engraved (de-bossed) on the base of the products, another feature that underlines its identity as an exclusive Sue Ure Maison design. The tall beaker is made from pure white porcelain ceramic (clay).
When I was designing our tall beaker, I was aware that a handleless cup was something of a recent item in terms of UK tableware.
We often enjoy food that’s the product of a fusion of cultures and it’s not surprising that our ceramics and tableware purchases evolve to match this trend. Our tall porcelain tumbler is just as suitable for hot drinks as it is for cold - whereas I wouldn’t dream of drinking my cold drinks from a mug!
For those of us who regularly use a dishwasher, the surface of glass beakers or tumblers can become cloudy over time, something that won't happen with our ceramic tumblers or mugs.
