This handmade jug in fine white porcelain has five concentric hand-drawn lines of rainbow colours.

The bright, coloured lines are hand-painted onto the outside of the jug which is left without glaze. The top section and inside of the jug have a resistant and easily cleaned glossy transparent glaze, the lower section of the outside has no glaze and reveals the tactile qualities of the fired porcelain and marks a visual and tactile contrast with the glazed area.

The rainbow colour lines are playful, suggesting ideas of optimism and inclusion. At just under a quarter of a litre this jug is perfect for all sorts of kitchen or decorative uses - as a water jug for one, or as a morning serving of fruit juice for two. It is equally good as a jug for frothing milk for cappuccino, or for latte coffee enthusiasts. A handleless, stylish, streamlined tall jug which is comfortable to hold and to pour.
