Kanthas are layers of cloth, hand-stitched by women in West Bengal using a traditional kantha stitch.

Lahar, a perfectly imperfect rainbow kantha which took up to 15 days to complete and is made from 3 layers of 100% cotton. The freehand wide wave pattern has been stitched using a stunning royal blue thread. This can cover a single bed as a bed spread, at the end of a double bed.

Each throw is entwined with hope and love and by purchasing a Hope throw you are directly supporting the livelihood of artisans dependent on traditional skills.
