This print was inspired by the cave paintings made many thousands of years ago, as well as the simple cut out techniques of Matisse’s artwork. You can find hidden animals amongst the shapes if you look carefully. The original artwork was created with ink on paper.

This flared Empire shape is available in three sizes, and can either be made for a standing lamp or for a ceiling fitting. LINEN / COTTON BLEND: Our linen/cotton blend is woven and printed especially for us in Turkey. A slight slubbing can occur on linen, but this is part of its charm and gives the cloth its coveted vintage feel. Avoid picking or snipping at the slubs, they are part of the fabric's character and intrinsic to its structure.
