What's Natural Shampoo?

Natural organic shampoo, is the way to go! Instead of chemicals, natural shampoos use plant extracts, essential oils and other natural ingredients. This cleans hair and improves everything from shine to body. It is not only gentler on your hair, but it is also beneficial to your body and your health. Because you’re not absorbing the chemicals found in regular shampoos. While you may think shampoo only affects your hair, its ingredients can be absorbed through the pores. Meaning you’re also putting these ingredients into your body. Some of these chemicals can cause skin irritation or contribute to a number of health problems. Plus, regular shampoo can actually harm your scalp and hair. By reducing the size of hair follicles, damaging the oil glands and causing your scalp to become dry. All of these things can potentially lead to hair loss over time.

There is a noticeable difference when you switch to Natural Hair Products

The most noticeable difference you can see when beginning to use a natural shampoo. Is that it will not produce as much lather as a conventional shampoo. Due to the absence of synthetic foaming agents. This is not an indication that the hair is not being thoroughly cleansed. Rather it indicates that the hair’s natural oils are not being washed out. It is recommended that hair be washed twice when using a natural shampoo. As the second wash will produce slightly more lather. This is because there is less buildup – dirt, oil, dry skin – to eliminate in the second wash. Furthermore, when the strands hold more water in the second wash. It increases the shampoo’s ability to produce more lather.

How do I request an exchange or return?

Generous APE is a multi-brand marketplace which means products are sent directly from the different brands, some in different countries. Returns need to be sent direct back to the brands, not Generous APE. Therefore, if you have ordered products from different brands and you wish to return them, they will need to be sent back to each brand.  

Generous APE does not cover the cost of return postage unless your item is faulty.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges directly, however some do brands do offer this option. Please contact us if you wish to exchange an item and we can let you know if the brand accepts exchanges.

Please use tracked delivery to return your item(s) as this will be your proof of postage and help you to receive your refund quicker.

How long do I have to return my order?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.


What can be returned?

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

Please note: Any Sale items, Custom Made or Made to Order items cannot be returned unless faulty. The brand will investigate faults before a refund will be issued.


What if an item is faulty?

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
