Palestinian Keffiyeh | Inverted by Spindle

The Inverted Keffiyeh is a striking reinterpretation of the classic black-and-white kufiya, born from a moment of inspiration. While examining old film negatives, Abu Mohammad Hirbawi noticed an inverted image of the traditional kufiya—where white appeared black, and black appeared white. This creative spark led him to craft a bold new design: a keffiyeh with a rich black body and a striking white pattern.

Handcrafted with care in Palestine by the last remaining keffiyeh factory, this inverted design is a proud symbol of Palestinian identity. While it honors the tradition and heritage of the classic kufiya, its innovative twist adds a fresh sense of modernity and visual intrigue.

A timeless accessory, the Inverted Keffiyeh complements any outfit with its bold contrast and cultural significance. Whether worn as a scarf, shawl, or statement piece, it is a testament to the ingenuity and artistry of Palestinian craftsmanship.

Read before buying: We source our keffiyeh from Al-khalil, Hebron. These keffiyehs proudly bear the original Arabic label. Given their handmade nature, some minor variations should be expected—such as slight differences in weaving thickness, difference in tassels compared to the images online, the finish on the label. Occasional loose threads may also be present, but these can be easily trimmed without causing any harm to the keffiyeh.
